Sweeney Health Center celebrated the expansion of services offered with a ribbon cutting Sept. 14 at its location on Mallory Lane in Franklin.

Dr. Ben Sweeney shared with attendees that he has been in practice since 2007 and that this is the third name change as services are expanding.

Nancy Conway, vice president of Williamson Inc., welcomed Sweeney and his staff to the chamber and gave everyone an overview of the practice.

“We are proud to be a member and hope to be an active member of the chamber,” Sweeney said. “To be a part of the community and share what we do is as we evolved into an integrative medical practice.”

The transformation Sweeney shared was when his own wife had some health issues and the couple looked to holistic answers.

Originally the practice focused on only chiropractic services; with the name change and expansion, they will offer laser therapy, decompression, oxygen therapy, neuropathy, pain management, nutrition, detox, metabolic reset, weight loss and supplements.

Sweeney Health Center has seven employees and looks to grow further with the addition of a medical physician and nurse practitioner. Dr. Brock Mattson is also providing chiropractic services for the practice.

At Sweeney Health Centers, staff believes no one should suffer constantly from pain stemming from preexisting conditions or injuries that never seem to heal. Chiropractic care can help patients dealing with a myriad of health problems find lasting relief.

Most healthy people do not realize that chiropractic care can even be beneficial for improving their immune system function and strengthening their vitality, according to Sweeney Health. Day-to-day life can be draining not just on the mind, but the immune system. By seeking wellness care at Sweeney Health Centers, minor adjustments can ensure your body stays running like a finely tuned machine, ready to conquer every day’s challenges.

Sweeney and his staff say they are a true wellness center addressing the physical, chemical, emotional and spiritual stressors patients face.
